I photograph love stories on location - coastal cliffs, redwood forests, San Francisco City Hall, anywhere the light is worth chasing.

My approach is candid and documentary - I'm less interested in arranging moments than in catching them: the laugh that surprises you, the quiet in-between, the way you look at each other when you forget I'm there.  Emotion over arrangement, always.

I'm rooted in California and deeply drawn to its landscapes - the Marin Headlands, the Sierra Nevadas, the Presidio of San Francisco, coastline everywhere.  To me place isn't just backdrop.  It's part of who we are as Californians, part of our relations with - and love for - each other.

My aesthetic leans toward film - warm, a little hazy, with shadows that breathe. I'm drawn to golden hour light and the way it turns an ordinary hillside into something you'll remember forever.

I work best with couples who'd rather explore than pose, who value images that feel real over images that look perfect.

If this sounds like you, let's discuss.
